ANZAC Day, on the 25th April, marks the anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) at the Gallipoli Peninsula during the First World War. The actions of the ANZACs during the first major military conflict they faced leaves behind a powerful legacy that profoundly impacts both nations. ANZAC Day commemorates the lives of Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in the Gallipoli campaign all other wars and conflicts subsequently.
