Anonymous asked: What is your opinion on the War of Austrian Succession?

It’s not modern enough!

But no really, I know like the barest of bones about that war (something with Prussia and the Austrian Hapsburg and some piece of territory) because it happened in the mid 1700s and all I know about the 1700s is stuff happening in the New World. I obsessively know things from 1800-∞, it’s really hard for me to get into stuff earlier than the 19th Century.

However this reminds me, tomorrow is the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam.
