Anonymous asked: You seem to be very patriotic. Which is silly, considering the horrendous acts this nation (United States) has committed.

The only difference between me and blind patriots is I acknowledge those acts. I don’t say they didn’t occur. I don’t deny the fact that the United States government practically wiped out entire cultures of the Native American tribes here. I don’t ignore the war crimes that occurred in the Second World War, Korea or Vietnam or now. I don’t condone a lot of government policies even if my tax dollars pay for them. These acts don’t take away from the fact that I love my country. Though to be fair, I love my country as much as I love Great Britain, Canada, Germany, Russia, France, etc.

Well, maybe love isn’t the right word. I have respect for countries if that makes sense and they all have blood on their hands and by effect so do the people who call those nations their home. It does a disservice to ignore this fact—you have to remember and I do. If someone is says otherwise, they’re only doing a disservice to themselves.

On the other hand, I enjoy being the obnoxious stan for America sometimes too because it enrages people, so:
